LEAH WARREN'S MUSIC STUDIO

Welcome to this glimpse into my Music Studio in central Pennsylvania!  

 

• I operate a studio teaching primarily piano.  I also offer flute lessons and my husband teaches brass lessons. 

• Students can expect to be given a strong exposure to classical music, technique, and music theory-education as I believe this provides the strongest background for all avenues of music that could eventually be pursued. 

• Each student has individual abilities and preferences therefore I encourage each one to discover and play other styles of music also, including popular styles.  

• Beginners will use one of the many well-written and age appropriate contemporary series currently being published. These curriculums provide a well-balanced start in technique, note reading and solo material. 

• Upon completion of the elementary curriculum students begin a carefully graded and personalized study of a variety of music tailored to their specific needs and preferences.  

• Students interested in improvisation, accompanying, or hymn playing are developed in these areas also.  

• Annual recital and repertoire classes are offered to interested students.

• Believing strongly in the value of the individual, I respect all students for their differences in learning style and musical preferences, and strive help them to become the best they can be.
